Worship in Pink 2011 Information:

Did you know that our state leads the nation in breast cancer deaths, even though the number of Louisiana women diagnosed with breast cancer is below the national average?

By participating in Worship In Pink in October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month) on a day of your choice, you will make an important contribution to the health of women (and men) in your congregation and community.  The Baton Rouge Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will provide you with breast health educational materials to distribute to your congregation and will share ideas to help you design your Worship In Pink service and activities.

In addition to education, Worship In Pink provides an opportunity to celebrate breast cancer survivors in your congregation, as well as to honor and remember those who have lost their battle.
